Our mission
At Kboodle, we believe life is made of moments worth noticing: the milestones you plan for, and the ordinary Tuesday you didn’t know would become a memory. Our mission is to help families capture, preserve, and share all of it: the photos and videos, and just as importantly, the stories behind them, so nothing gets forgotten.
Too many of life’s best moments end up the same way, packed into a photo album no one opens, or buried in a phone no one scrolls back through. Kboodle was built to change that. We bring your photos, videos, and the stories behind them together in one place, organized the way your family actually lived them, whether that’s a memory from decades ago or something that happened last weekend. Families use it to hold onto what matters most, and to share it as it happens. So do professionals across all kinds of work, with stories of their own to tell.
Our story
Kboodle began with a family project. A few years ago, one of our founders started building his father’s life story when his father was 95. Together they went through photos from his younger years, recorded two-minute videos of him telling stories from his life, beginning with his childhood, and even photographed the pictures in his high school yearbook, using Kboodle’s AI tools to enhance everything where needed. Whenever they look back through the story, his father’s eyes light up as he shares the memories.
Then he created a new album made up only of YouTube videos of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and other singers performing the songs his father grew up with. Watching them, his father had tears of joy in his eyes, remembering how he used to dance to that music with his wife.
We’re a team of technologists, storytellers, and memory enthusiasts who care about human connection and preserving what matters, and we’re building Kboodle so other families can have moments like that.
